Ngipwem Rebecca Chohwanglim is currently pursuing her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Centre for East Asian Studies (Chinese Division). She has completed her MPhil from the same centre on the topic ‘Evolving a Chinese Theory of International Relations: Sovereignty and Multilateral Institutions 2002-2017’. She is a recipient of the Ministry of Education Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (2018-2019), Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) in India and has also been named for the bilateral educational exchange and academic cooperation program TECC. Her areas of interests pertains to China’s Foreign Policy, multilateralism and the approaches and debates on international relations theory in China.
