Dr. Ming Lee is currently a full-time Professor and Dean of the Department of Diplomacy at National Chengchi University (NCCU) (August 2003 to July 2007). He received his BA in Oriental Languages at NCCU, his MA in International Relations at Johns Hopkins University, and his PhD in International Relations at the University of Virginia. Prior to his current position, he was an Associate Researcher for the Center for International Relations (1988-1989), a full-time Associate Researcher and Deputy Team Leader and later, Team Leader at the International Relations Research Center (1990-1992, 1992-1998 respectively), a Master and Doctoral dissertation Supervisor (1994), a full-time Associate Professor in NCCU’s Department of Diplomacy (1992 to 1998), Chairman of the Korean Studies Association of the Republic of China (1998-2002), and he was also the host of the “Foreign Policy Public Forum” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002 to 2003).
