Marina Ika Sari is a recipient of the 2023 Republic of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Fellowship and a visiting scholar at the Taiwan Center for Security Studies from January to April 2023. She is researching US-China Rivalry in the Taiwan Straits and its Implication for Cross-Strait Relations. She works as a researcher at the ASEAN Studies Program, The Habibie Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. She holds a master’s degree in Defense Diplomacy from the Republic of Indonesia Defense University and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. Her research interests are defense diplomacy, security, foreign policy, ASEAN, and East Asia regional studies.
