Luana Margarete Geiger is a recipient of 2022 Republic of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Fellowship and is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Taiwan Center for Security Studies (TCSS) within the Institute of International Relations of National Chengchi University (NCCU). She is a Ph.D. candidate and M.A. in Political Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil. She is also a Research Assistant at the Brazilian Center for Strategy & International Relations (NERINT) and a Research Fellow at the South-American Institute for Policy and Strategy (ISAPE). She has previously worked (2020-2022) as a Teaching and Research Assistant to the School of International Relations of Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), ranked as the most important think tank in Latin America for more than a decade. Her research focuses on the International Relations of Northeast Asia, Geoeconomics and power transitions.
