Objectives:

To discuss the crisis that has revealed the underlying priorities of China and its agility to innovate and adapt, starting with the recasting of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) into a “Health Silk Road”.

Dr. Fu-Kuo Liu is a Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations (IIR), National ChengChi University and Professor and the International Doctorate Program in the Asia Pacific Studies (IDAS), College of Social Science, National ChengChi University. 

Dr. Patrick Mendis


Dr. Patrick Mendis a former American diplomat and a military professor in the NATO and the Pacific Commands is currently serving as a Taiwan fellow of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China. He is also a distinguished visiting professor of global affairs at the National ChengChi University and a senior fellow at the Taiwan Center for Security Studies in Taipei

Dr. Vinsensio Dugis


Dr. Vinsensio Dugis is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of International Relations, Airlangga University in Indonesia. He is currently a Visiting Associate Professor at the College of Foreign Languages & Literature, National ChengChi University. 

Dr. Mignonne Man-jungChan 

Dr. Mignonne Man-jung Chan has extensive experience in academia, government, business, and media. She is Cheif Strategy Officer of the Humanities Forum as well as Healthy Asia and sits on many Boards, including Commissioner of the KMY Party Review, Disciplinary Commission, Board Member of the National Policy Research Foundation.
