
Dr. Kumari Mansi is the recipient of the Ministry of Education Short Term Research Award fellowship undertaking research on India-Taiwan relations post 2014. She is Assistant Professor at Amity University Haryana, India. Prior to that, she worked with the School of Foreign Languages, Ministry of Defence, India.
Dr. Mansi holds her doctorate in International Relations from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She received the “Shastri Students Mobility” fellowship to undertake her research work in University of Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 2012. She is also the recipient of Shastri Knowledge Mobilization Grant (SKMG 2013-14). Dr. Mansi has completed her M.Phil, Masters’ and Graduation degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Mansi is an interdisciplinary researcher whose areas of interest are varied which includes foreign policy of India, Canada and France. Her current area of research includes the geo-politics of the Indo-Pacific Region with particular focus on the Indian Ocean Region and India-Taiwan relations.
Her recent publication is on “India-France Strategic Cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region” published in United Services of India (USI) journal. She has delivered various lectures at National and International level. She has also participated in various national and international conferences/seminars/workshops and has chaired sessions in panel presentations.
