Dr. Darson Chiu is a Research Fellow of the Department of International Affairs and Macroeconomic Forecasting Center, Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER). In addition, he has been an Adjunct Professor teaching at the Department of Economics, Tunghai University. Besides being with think tanks and universities, he is currently a member of editorial committee of the Modern Management Science & Engineering Journal. He received a doctoral degree in leadership in organizational management from University of Phoenix, Arizona, a doctoral candidate and master of science of applied economics from University of Missouri-Columbia, and a bachelor of arts in economics from Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. Darson Chiu has published many papers on the subjects related to regional organizations, leadership management, organizational management, international relations, and macroeconomic analysis. In additions, he frequently writes articles to comment on current economic, political and social issues on newspapers such as the Taipei Times, Economic Daily News and Commercial Times.
