Dr. Chyungly Lee currently holds many positions, including: Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations at National Chengchi University (NCCU), Adjunct Associate Professor in the English Language Doctoral Program for Asia-Pacific Studies in NCCU’s College of Social Sciences, adjunct Associate Professor in NCCU’s Department of Journalism, and also participates in the Silk Road Research Advisory Committee at the Central Asia Research Center at Uppsala University in Sweden. She received her BA in Diplomacy at NCCU, her MA in Political Science at the University of Maryland (UMD), and also her PhD in Political Science at UMD. Prior to her current positions, Dr. Lee was a visiting scholar at the US Cooperative Monitoring Center of Sandia National Laboratory in 1991, a visiting scholar at British Columbia State University’s Asian Studies Center and International Relations Research Center in Canada, and was also the Leader of the Cooperation and Exchange Group for NCCU’s Center for International Relations from 1993-1994.
