Shreya Mapadath is a fourth-year undergraduate student from Indiana University Bloomington majoring in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus in Mandarin. Throughout college, Shreya has taken interest in the complex cultural, historical, and political ties shared by East Asian nations and is particularly focused on deepening her knowledge of cross-Strait relations. Currently, she is furthering her study of Chinese as an exchange student at National Chengchi University. After graduating this spring, Shreya hopes to pursue a public sector career related to US-East Asia relations.
