Dr. Darson Chiu is the Director-General of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) and Secretary-Treasurer of the Asian Bankers Association (ABA). Previously, he was a Research Fellow at the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER). Additionally, he was an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics, Tunghai University. Currently, he is a member of the editorial committee for the Modern Management Science & Engineering Journal. He received a doctoral degree of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, Arizona; a doctoral candidate and master of science in Applied Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia; and a bachelor of arts in Economics from Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. Dr. Chiu has published many papers on regional organizations, leadership management, organizational management, international relations, and macroeconomic analysis. In additions, he frequently writes articles and commentary on current economic, political, and social issues in publications such as the Taipei Times, Economic Daily News, and Commercial Times.
